So Schuba's has decided to combine both the early and late show and move it to Lincoln Hall. The show is now at 10:30pm. See below for meet-up details.

Say Hi (formerly known as Say Hi to Your Mom) is a delightfully poppy Seattle-based group (although Eric Elbogen is essentially running the show himself with some support from friends), which released its sixth album Oohs & Aahs in March of this year. Say Hi is opening for David Bazan, formerly of Pedro the Lion, and we’ll stick around for Mr. Bazan too. Meanwhile, check out Say Hi and David Bazan, and get your tix here.

    •  It was a great group of friendly people and the bands were really good.

Say Hi was good, but I liked them better when they headlined the Beat Kitchen. David Bazan was really good. Lincoln Hall has great sound and lives up to my expectations. However, they needed to work out a lot of bugs (like waiting in line for an hour after the show was scheduled to begin).

Lincoln Hall obviously has some kinks to work out yet. A 45 minute line to get in the door is fairly ridiculous. Nonetheless, the venue seems cool once inside the door. I think Say Hi seemed a bit more polished last time I saw them, but I was presently surprised by David Bazan. I liked his sound way better live than on his album. As always, had a great time hanging out with members old and new.
