What a great label FatCat Redcords is. I was just perusing their catalog, and they've brought us some amazing music. Animal Collective, Frightened Rabbit, Sigur Ros, just to name a few.

And now, Empty Bottle is bringing a trio of their acts to Chicago on Monday, October 12! Playing that night are The Twilight Sad, Brakes, and We Were Promised Jetpacks. It will be a fantastic night of indie rock from across the pond. And here's the kicker, it's only 12 bucks! EDIT: (I said it was 8 bucks earlier, but it is actually 12. My bad.)

I understand Mondays are brutal for everyone, but why not throw a wrench into your habitual week and come see some good music with a great group!

We'll meet at Stella's Sports Bar on Western and Walton (NE corner) before the show to get to know each other while throwing back a couple of cheap cold ones.
