It’s non-show meetup time again. For those of you who have never been to one of our non-show meetups, it’s always a blast and a great opportunity to meet fellow indie fans without having to shell out money for a concert ticket. Usually, between 40 and 60 people turn out for these. We will be meeting at 8:15 p.m. at the Hungry Brain, a real gem as far as dive bars go. In fact, on a few occasions, I have bumped into fellow CIRF members when grabbing a drink there. The drink prices are very reasonable and the atmosphere is fantastic. Just as an FYI, this is a cash only establishment and there is not an ATM. An ATM is allegedly across the street somewhere, but I would suggest you bring enough cash with you. Also, the bar does not open until 8 p.m., so just hang tight if you arrive a couple of minutes early. We hope to have a great turn out for this one, despite the late notice (sorry).
