We’re taking a member’s suggestion for this one. Thanks Reba. Love the Dutchess and the Duke. They are straight out of the ‘60s and I’m going to have to agree with Reba’s posting on the message board that they just scream “San Francisco.” They also happen to be the “Band We Like” this week on chicago.ohmyrockness.com, which definitely increases the possibility that this show will sell out. Greg Ashley and Love of Everything are opening. Tickets are $10 and you can buy them here. We’ll meet at Stella’s Sports Bar (far more divey than sporty) at 10 p.m. You should have no trouble spotting our sign and finding us at Stella’s but trying to find us at the Empty Bottle is another story, so I wouldn’t show up too late. Sorry for the short notice.

Mawiyah (and everyone else), please come so it won't be a date! We want to drink and listen to music with our fine meetup friends. If we wanted to go on a date, we wouldn't have made this a meetup. :)

I hope that I didn't potentially scare away folks by my "date" joke! Really, most of what comes out of my mouth shouldn't be taken seriously.

Ok, so the Dutchess and the Duke don't show up as the "Band We Like" on ohmyrockness any more, but I swear it did a couple days ago.
