Clues @ Schubas

Montreal band Clues is composed of former members of the Unicorns and the Arcade Fire (sounds more like the former than the latter). Skybox, Pomegranates, and Netherfriends are opening. Tickets are $15 and you can buy them here. Because the Pomegranates are now playing at 9:45 p.m., the pre-show meetup will now be at 9 p.m. at the Lincoln Tap, and we will head over to Schubas at about 9:45 p.m.
As always, if you don't initially see our sign at Lincoln Tap, walk closer to the tables and the other patrons. I promise you we are there. Finding anyone once we are at Schubas will be difficult so let us know in advance if you are going to try to meet us at Schubas.

Beyonce is apparently suing Clues because she thinks that the opening of Clues' song "You have my eyes now" sounds like the opening of her song "Halo." Umm...right...That is absurd. Miss Beyonce is clearly getting greedy.

In light of Beyonce suing Clues, I thought it was really funny that after Clues' last song, Schubas was playing Beyonce's song Halo.

A great show. I can't wait until Clues puts out another album. It was definitely worth heading over for the Pomegranates too. Thanks to those of you who suggested that.

Enjoyed Pomegranates. Still a work in progress I think. Sad I couldn't stay for Clues! 3 days of TNK was too much for this old girl :( Great group of people to chat with though!

Hands down love Schubas! The crowd really got into Clues, plus the opener Pomegranates are worth a second gander. Overall, another great and successful meetup (yet to disappoint!)
