**We will be meeting at Lincoln Station at 8:30 PM because LH tends to get very busy and there isn't all that much space in the front room for a "pre-meetup". If you can't make it to the pre-meetup, but still want to catch up with us at the show, shoot me an email, because I won't be holding a sign once we get to Lincoln Hall**

Due to enormous interest, we've decided to add WWPJ as a last minute meetup. It looks like a bunch of us are already going, and we thought we'd be sure the rest of the group had a chance to check these guys out in case you missed the WWPJ meetup last October.

Scottish indie rockers We Were Promised Jetpacks follows in the footsteps of other FatCat notables like Frightened Rabbit and The Twilight Sad. Their debut album, These Four Walls, released in June of 2009 drew a significant amount of attention here in the US and has brought them over here to now headline a national tour. Pitchfork describes them as "an anthemic collection of heavily accented singing, insistent rhythms, and intense sincerity." You will certainly be pulled in by their intensity and not let go until they strike their last chords.
