Join us for the opening of the free Downtown Sound: New Music Mondays series at Millennium Park featuring Montreal based Besnard Lakes. Fronted by husband and wife team Jace Lasek and Olga Goreas, their sound draws from a variety of musical influences but is often described as psychedelic/atmospheric.
The Ponys, an indie/garage rock band from Chicago, open.
We'll stake out a spot with a few blankets starting at 5 near the front of the lawn probably towards the middle. More specifics to be posted on the day of the show, but you can also email Miriam for a cell #. Feel free to bring food/beverages (liquor is allowed on the lawn during concerts) and maybe an extra blanket if a lot of people plan to attend.
