Earlier this year, the Soft Pack (formerly known as the Muslims) released a very catchy self-titled LP, which contains straight forward and simple songs. In case you were wondering (I’m sure you weren’t but I’m going to tell you anyway), the band has said that “Soft Pack” either describes the band as being well-mannered or, refers to a device which one wears to convince others that the wearer has a penis. There you go.

I am equally excited to check out Royal Bangs. They’re a little electronic, a little garage and full of energy. I’m expecting this to be a really engaging and fun show. Check them out here and buy your tickets here.

This is an official Lolla aftershow so we’ll be starting late. We’ll meet in the bar area at 10:15 p.m., and I will be holding a sign so you can find me. I will try to hover in the area between the women’s restroom and the ticket guy. With that said, I’m anticipating this being really busy and it might even sell out. Meaning, it could be hard to see the sign, so if you don’t see it at first, keep looking. I promise you I will be there.
