Some of you may have seen the London quartet Veronica Falls open up for The Drums at Sub-T last fall. I didn't have the pleasure, but being a big fan of their self-titled debut, I don't want to miss them this time around! If you're a fan of jangly indie-pop of the C-86 era, you'll love this band, and the same goes for openers Brilliant Colors (Slumberland). If you're unfamiliar with the music, check it out! We'll plan on being at Lockdown across the street between 8 & 8:30 pm, showtime at EB is at 9:30. I just updated twitter.com/cirfmug and I'll be at Lockdown tonight between 8 and 9 before Veronica Falls at Empty Bottle-- look for red Pop'stache t-shirt and CIRF sticker. I'm emailing those that RSVP'd. Last I heard it wasn't sold out, but I wasn't able to get a plus one, so you might want to get an advance ticket just in case. OK leaving home now.
