hey, if you have $12 in your concert budget, run, don't walk, to your nearest computer and buy your toro y moi ticket! it may not sell out, but this is a band worthy of displacing most anything else that could be happening that night.

it's tough to say. it just takes one song on "the hills," or something like that, and bands go from anonymous to sold out! besides, the xx already had pretty good showing at the friendly fires show. you may be able to wait a couple of weeks, but i say better safe than sorry! that being said, i haven't bought any tix yet, though. gotta wait for my 2010 concert budget to kick in next week! btw, i *highly* recommend picking up tix to see toro y moi open for ruby suns! only $10 @ schuba's.

dunno if it's going to be a meetup show, but the xx are playing a show with jj (a down tempo swede) @ lincoln hall. tix are on sale now, though. better get 'em before they're gone!
