Hi Shirley, The meet up group Free & Cheap & Culture & nightlife is having is having Karaoke at Sakura Karoake Lounge on Friday Nov. 18th from 6:30 pm and beyond... This is in Chinatown located at 234 West Cermak Road, Chicago, Illinois 60616 . Go to www.sakurakaraokelounge.com if you wanna check out the place before coming. Hope to see everyone there :) admission is free Happy hour starts at 6pm... so far 11 people from 2 meetup groups will be there... Look for meetup sign on one of the tables

Hi Shirley, Join us for Karaoke at sidekicks on 10/28/11
4424 W Montrose Ave. On a Friday Night 8pm till 1am..... but they close at 5 am if you want to stay later... They have drinks that are pretty cheap... and if your hungry you can order food till 12am.... Sidekicks is on the corner of kostner and montrose... and about 2 blocks east of the kennedy.... on the north side of the street. Near the Montrose blue line stop and Montrose bus. Hope To see everyone there :) Free admission to get in

Why not just take the day off work..... wouldn't browsing around the Museum... for FREE.... be a lot more fun? <wink> :-)

Interesting about the Florence Serial Killer museum..... I have always been fascinated with that..... I will have to go if I ever find myself there :-)

I enjoy the Art Institute's Minatures Room.... amazing how many house/room styles there have been in various countries over the centuries!
