I joined this meetup group to check out bands with people who enjoyed Indie music. I was able to ask other members what they thought of the band we were seeing as well as past bands & future meet up bands. I liked that I had people to discuss bands I had been thinking about going to see. If you like checking out new bands this is a great meetup group for that.

Hey, standing for 4 hours waiting for them to start playing would have really sucked bad if it weren't for your funny stories about JT. Well worth the wait, they can seriously rock out. Seeya at the next event. (head nod).

ever listen to eastern conference champions? just rummaged through your "what are you listening to lately," and figured you might dig them. they have played a couple of times in chicago at the beat kitchen. kinduva old radioheadish sound. you can seriously hear the similarities in their song "gucci no. 3." check 'em out, and let me know what you think!
